Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 September 2026

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to sell you a course and give you access to it: your email address and your order. We never see your card number — Stripe handles payment. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. Your course progress stays in your own browser, not on our servers. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

1. Who we are

Real Study Guides is operated by TGR Telecom Services LLC, a Georgia limited liability company, 2044 Reavis Blf, Conyers, GA 30012. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us at support@realstudyguides.com.

2. What we collect, and why

WhatWhyHow long
Email addressTo deliver your access link and licence key, handle support, and send order and update noticesWhile your access is live, then as needed for tax and accounting records
Order details — course purchased, amount, date, Stripe payment referenceTo fulfil the order, verify access, handle refunds and keep required business recordsSeven years, for tax and accounting
Access token and licence fingerprintTo grant access to what you bought, and to identify the source of an unauthorised copyWhile your access is live
Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages requestedStandard server and CDN logs; security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing faultsAs retained by our hosting provider, typically 30 days
Messages you send usTo answer youWhile the matter is open, then archived

We do not collect your payment card details. Card entry happens inside Stripe's own secure fields; the number never reaches our servers and we never store it. We receive only a payment reference, the amount, and whether it succeeded.

We do not require an account. There is no username, no password to us, and no profile.

3. Your course progress stays on your device

Which lessons you have completed, your quiz answers and your scores are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are not transmitted to us and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data clears your progress, and progress does not follow you between devices.

The one exception is a company or white-label licence, where the employer that bought the seats can see completion and progress for the people it assigned seats to. If you are using a seat your employer paid for, your employer can see that you completed a course. Your employer's own privacy policy governs what they do with that.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use browser storage for things the site cannot work without: keeping you signed in to a course you bought, remembering your progress, and remembering your place. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run third-party ad trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. Our payment pages load Stripe's scripts, which Stripe uses for fraud prevention.

5. Who your information goes to

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share only with service providers who need it to run the business:

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to enforce our terms, to investigate unauthorised copying of our content, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business — in which case the same commitments here continue to apply.

6. Email we send

You will get transactional email about your purchase — access links, receipts, refunds, and material updates to a course you bought. These are part of the service and are not marketing.

If we send you anything promotional, every message has an unsubscribe option and we honour it. We do not sell or rent our email list.

7. Your choices and rights

Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask us to:

Email support@realstudyguides.com and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you worse for exercising any of these rights.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute, including the right to opt out of sale or targeted advertising — which is straightforward here, because we do not sell personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising. California residents also have the right not to face discrimination for exercising their rights. If you are in the UK or EU, you additionally have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; our lawful bases are performance of a contract (delivering what you bought) and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and protecting our content).

Deleting your order record may end your access to a course you bought, since the record is what proves the purchase. We will tell you before that happens.

8. Children

This site sells professional exam preparation and is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Course content is served only over encrypted connections and only after a signed access check. Access tokens are cryptographically signed with a key held on the server. Payment data is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 provider, and never touches our systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do not hold card data or passwords, which removes the two most damaging things a breach could expose.

10. Where your information is handled

We operate in the United States and our providers process data in the United States. If you use the site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for material changes we will say so on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
